Impressive inside and out, the new 2012 Nissan Sentra at Marlboro Nissan offers everything drivers and passengers could ask for from its comfortable and well-equipped interior to its appealing exterior, efficient engine and array of standard safety features.

Available in six trim levels, the 2012 Nissan Sentra easily adapts to a variety of automotive needs. Each 2.0 Sentra in the 2012 line-up is equipped with the same 2.0-liter DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine capable of producing 140 hp and 147 lb.-ft. of torque. The SE-R trim level boasts a 2.5-liter DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine with 177 hp, while the SE-R Spec V further ups the ante with a 200 hp 2.5-liter DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine.

The Sentra 2.0 is equipped standard with a 6-speed manual transmission but is available with the same Xtronic CVT® (Continuously Variable Transmission) that is found in the other 2.0 models. Two other transmission options exist but are exclusively available on the SE-R and SE-R Spec V trim levels. When paired with the CVT, each 2.0 trim averages 27mpg in the city and 34mpg on the highway – which is great news for Boston Nissan drivers.

Convenience features standard across all trim levels include power windows with driver 1-touch up and down, power locks with auto-locking feature, air conditioning with in-cabin micro filter, an oversize glove compartment, an auxiliary 12-volt DC power outlet, manual adjustable front seats, and more. An AM/FM/CD audio system is standard on the first three trim levels but an upgraded Premium audio system with 4.3" color display can be found on the upper three. All trims also come with an auxiliary audio input jack.

Standard safety features include the Nissan Advanced Air Bag System (AABS) with dual-stage supplemental front air bags with seat belt and occupant classification sensors, driver and front-passenger seat-mounted side-impact supplemental air bags, roof-mounted curtain side impact supplemental air bags for front and rear-seat outboard occupant head protection, and front seat active head restraints. Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) with Traction Control System (TCS) is also standard
